Our innovations team has been developing frames for the future in the latest smart materials – ghost fishing nets collected from the ocean and plastic bottles are repurposed into stylish O’Neill sunglasses and eyewear cases. Plant-based material G850 is precision-injected in a reduced waste production method. Real bamboo wood is formed into frame temples.

Featuring ZEROFORM frame material for comfort fit, no-slip PSYCHOTECH contact points and HYDROFREAK lenses for optical polarization and enhanced UV protection.

Polarized Sunglasses

UV blocking sunglasses delay the development of cataracts, since direct sunlight hastens their formation. Sunglasses prevent retinal damage; they also protect the delicate eyelid skin to prevent both wrinkles and skin cancer around the eye, and both cancerous and non-cancerous growths on the eye. Check for 100% UV protection: make sure your sunglasses block 100% of UV-A rays and UV-B rays.

O’Neill sunglasses feature HYDROFREAK lenses, with high-quality polarizing filters sealed and protected from water damage by adding repellent hydrophobic coat and tough scratch-resistant, backside anti-reflective coating and impact-resistant polycarbonate.

HYDROFREAK lenses also bring supreme visual clarity – halo elimination, increased contrast and truer colors.

All O’Neill frames are fitted with lenses to offer enhanced UV400 UVA and UVB protection from sun damage.
